Application to Present a Talk or Poster

The retreat organizing committee encourages graduate students attending the retreat to give a talk or present a poster.

Lightning Talks: Second year students are invited to give a lightning talk. Each lightning talk will last 5 minutes, include no more than two slides, and will be a high-level overview of a research project or program similar to graphical abstracts. Lightning talks will be followed by a short discussion, during which members of the audience can ask questions about the talks in the session.

Talks: Graduate students in their third year or above and Postdocs are invited to give a talk. Talks will last 10 minutes with and additional 5 minutes for questions. Students doing a joint talk with their P.I. will receive additional time.

Posters: Graduate students and postdocs are invited to present a poster.
